Monthly IT and website support plans for small businesses in Bolton
Ongoing IT support, website maintenance, automation and digital improvements for small businesses, without the expense of hiring someone full-time. One fixed monthly fee, a set number of hours, and one named person who knows your setup. Based in Bolton, supporting businesses remotely across the UK.
You run a business of around 5 to 30 people. Nobody on the team does IT as their job, so it falls to whoever is least busy, or it waits until something breaks. The website was built a while ago and nobody is quite sure who has the login.
A support plan gives you someone who already knows your setup. You message me when you need something, and the routine jobs get done every month without you having to ask.
Typical businesses I look after
Day-to-day fixes, new starters set up, laptops kept up to date, and Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace looked after.
Updates, backups, uptime monitoring and small content changes, whether your site runs on WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, Shopify or something custom-built.
Spreadsheets tidied and fixed, small jobs automated, so the same details stop being typed in three places.
The small fixes that never get done: a form that emails the right person, a better booking link, a clearer page.
Every plan is a fixed monthly fee, tailored to your business. The price depends on how many people you have, how many websites I look after, and how much you need done each month.

Not sure which fits? Tell me how your business works and I will quote a fixed monthly fee.
Get a quote on a free 15-min callIf a job is bigger than your plan, I will say so and quote it before starting. Nothing is added to your bill without you agreeing first.
Each plan has a monthly hours allowance. I log the time I spend on your work, and you get a short report each month showing what was done and how many hours it took.
Unused hours do not roll over. That is what keeps the fee fixed and the response times reliable. If you are regularly using less than you pay for, I will suggest a smaller plan.
If a month gets busy, I tell you first. Time over your allowance is billed at my hourly rate, and only after I have told you. If it keeps happening, moving up a plan usually works out better.
Response times are working-day response times. Essentials is next working day, Business is same working day, and Partner comes first in the queue. A response means I have replied and started on it. I am one person, so I will not promise replies within the hour, but you always deal with me directly, not a ticket system.
3-month minimum, then month to month. Three months is enough to get properly set up and see the difference. After that the plan rolls monthly.
The first month is about getting everything written down and in one safe place, so nothing depends on one person's memory.
Step 1
You tell me how the business works, what keeps going wrong, and what you would like sorted.
Step 2
I suggest a plan level and send a simple agreement with the monthly fee and hours in writing.
Step 3
Logins and admin accounts gathered into a password manager, backups and monitoring checked, and a list made of your devices, accounts and website.
Step 4
You message me when you need something, the routine jobs happen every month, and you get a short report.
“BAV resolved our initial company PC issue. I have since been using BAV remotely with further ad hoc tasks. Many thanks!”
Every plan is a fixed monthly fee, tailored to your business. The price depends on how many people you have, how many websites and platforms I look after, how many hours you need each month and how quickly you need a response. Book a free 15-minute call or send me a WhatsApp message and I will give you a clear quote. Anything outside your plan is always agreed with you first.
Yes. I look after websites on any platform, including WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, Shopify and custom-built or static sites. The routine changes with the platform. Hosted builders like Wix, Squarespace and Shopify update themselves, so the work there is checking apps, forms, domains, content and backups. WordPress needs plugin and core updates on top. Custom sites need hosting, security and dependency checks.
I keep a log of the time I spend, and I tell you before you go over your allowance. Extra time is billed at my hourly rate, or if you are regularly over, we move you up a plan. Nothing extra is ever added without you knowing.
No. Your monthly hours cover that month only. That is what keeps the fee fixed and the response times reliable. If you keep using fewer hours than you pay for, I will suggest a smaller plan.
Plans have a 3-month minimum, which gives enough time to get properly set up and see the benefit. After that they roll month to month. If you only need help now and then, you can still use me ad hoc with no contract at all.
Essentials gets a next-working-day response, Business gets a same-working-day response, and Partner gets priority over everything else. A response means I have replied and started on it, not that every job is finished that day. I am one person, so I do not promise replies within the hour, but you always deal with me directly.
Most support is done remotely, which is how I support businesses across the UK. When something needs hands-on work, I come to you across Bolton and Greater Manchester.
The Website Care Plan looks after a single website that I host. A support plan covers the whole business: your IT, your people and their laptops, your website on whatever platform it runs on, and small automation jobs.
Yes. During onboarding I collect the logins, admin accounts and a list of your devices and services, and I check your backups are working before I change anything, so nothing breaks in the handover.
Tell me how your business works and what keeps going wrong. I will suggest a plan and give you a fixed monthly quote. The call is free and there is no obligation.
